The Backstory: Founder Erika Ollén, from Sweden, started the first batches of Gnista out of her kitchen, and to this day are made by hand. Barreled Oak is aged in whiskey barrels and meant to substitute for bourbons and whiskeys, and is warming, dark and full of body.

Tasting Notes: Dry and smokey, with tones of warm spices, chocolate rye and a distinct character of oak barrel.

Key Ingredients: Rhubarb, Raisins, Oak, Rye Malt, Almond, Lovage, Wormwood, Rosemary, Jalapeno

Recipes: Serve neat as an avec or use instead of rum/whiskey in no/low cocktails. Oak Soda Mix 3 oz. Gnista Barreled Oak with soda
