Haunt the Village 2024

Friday turned out to be a magical evening in the village! Business owners collaborated to market October's First Friday as Haunt the Village. The weather was ideal, and it was wonderful to see so many people strolling from shop to shop. But October 4th came fast, and we didn't get our act together for Halloween decorations as promised.

We've all been there, right? We're hosting something and have simply run out of time. Maybe Friday is a good reminder that being a better host doesn't mean having a Pinterest-perfect theme. We welcomed everyone with alcohol-removed wine and a smile. No one seemed to notice the lack of pumpkins, cobwebs, or skulls.

Whether you're hosting a bonfire with a few friends or an extravagant costume gala this fall season, we encourage you not to be so hard on yourself. There is no such thing as a perfect party. Are you offering something to drink that everyone can enjoy? Then you're pretty close in our opinion!
